Many of you know, I turned into a pizza geek years ago. There has been a bunch of interest here at BBQRevolution.com for my pizza dough recipe. I am excited to continue to share that with you and look forward to the continued back and forth with what you are creating in your kitchens!
On June 8th, 2020 I officially launched my new brand and line of Pizza Products, Urban Slicer Pizza Worx! We’re starting with 3 distinctly different flavors of pizza dough mixes and I couldn’t be more proud of what is in the package. These pizza dough mixes are Just Add Water! Not only are they incredible simple and easy to use, they are the REAL DEAL. There is more to come, including sauces and other surprises!
These are the three pizza dough mixes available:
NEAPOLITAN STYLE PIZZA DOUGH: The wood fired original. Perfect for high heat pizza ovens or traditional ovens at maximum temperature.
OUTDOOR GRILLING PIZZA DOUGH: Thin, crispy and spectacularly delicious. Perfect for cooking directly on grill grates or a pizza stone.
DETROIT DEEP DISH PIZZA DOUGH: A thick, crispy, caramelized crust made for cooking in a pan. Great for cooking in oven or on a grill or smoker.
I know many of you use my pizza dough recipes and/or reach out to me for pizza help and I LOVE THAT, please continue to do all of that!!! Anytime!!!
This is a culmination of a decade of trial and error and some serious R&D the last 18 months, to put something in a package I can proudly stand behind. I hope everyone continues making their own things from scratch, asking me questions and sharing all the pizza cooking experiences, but now there is a super simple option for the pantry, a dough that is ready same day, start to finish in just a couple hours, with a long shelf life (18 months). Just add water, the rest is in there.
Who is the Urban Slicer?
The Urban Slicer is just a guy. A guy who relentlessly cooks indoors and out. A guy who has been on BBQ Pitmasters, is a trusted brand ambassador and a World Food Championship chef. A guy who has been tirelessly bustin’ his hump for years to create the best possible pizzas and wants everyone to be able to do the same. He’s just a guy who’s graduated from the International School of Pizza and is a certified Pizzaiolo from Italy, Sicily and America.
Ultimately, he’s just a family guy named Matt who has created these products so that you can crank out world-class pizzas no matter where you are.
